This week facebook rolled out their answer to microsoft's co-pilot on instagram chat, what's app, and facebook chat. It's called Meta AI and it's available to everyone for free. It's based on the lama 3 large language model. It can do things like create images, provide code, answer questions, and translate text to other languages. I managed to find a bug when attempting to translate text to chinese and french, which is proof it's still a beta product.
Users now have many options for Ai assistants from Chat GPT, to MS co-pilot, Meta AI, Google Gemini Advanced, and I'm sure Apple won't be too far behind. It's early days and it's a good time to get familiar with these tools and how they can help you.
Check out the video for demonstration of it's capabilities
