Google Comes out with one of the best Apps of the year

There have been a lot of great apps/services released in 2024, but one app that I discovered in the past week may just be the best in my opinion. Google released NotebookLM, which can digest numerous sources from PDF's, web links, & even youtube videos. Using those sources you can then ask it questions, create FAQ's, study guides, timelines, and the killer feature is the audio podcast.

Implications for Creators

I've already done experimentation on how use use the tool as a content creator & youtuber. Imagine taking the best sources on a topic and coming up with a "notebook" or model with all that knowledge. As a student you can use it to arm yourself with the best knowledge on a topic in a digestable way.

As a content creator you can create videos or pieces of content based on this knowledgeable model that you trained. Leveraging other AI platforms you can really take the best knowledge and using your creativity create content remixes. I'll offer a few examples. First, I took the final cut pro user guide (hundreds of pages) and created an audio podcast that goes over some of the key features.

Here is my tutorial on how to use Google notebook LM. If you want to deep dive in the world of Gen AI you will be able to full leverage the stack of apps available now to create similar videos and content to what I'm doing now in my online course on sale for 4 more days. Similar to my framework of skillstacking, but now layering on the skills and tools available with AI.

I also created a golf video for my youtube channel using a chipping Masterclass by Tigerwoods and the notebooklm tool. The video was an experiment and has gained 1.3K views and 17.5 hours of watchtime in the past 4 days.

How will you leverage these tools?
