What is Adobe Spark and Why should you use it?

What is Adobe Spark and Why should you use it?

We are at the end of 2020 and I believe Adobe Spark is one of the apps of the year. Adobe Spark is like the Canva Graphic Design software plus Adobe’s expertise in Typography and Graphic Design rolled into an easy to use program. It’s free for anyone using an Adobe cloud subscription at $10 a month US. Anyone subscribing to Adobe Premiere or Adobe Effects like myself will automatically get access to Adobe Spark. I’m using more of Adobe’s tools for my Video Editing and Design work since I started using Adobe Premiere Pro for Video Editing. Why? Because Adobe is a company that is focused on designing software and services for creatives (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Spark, Adobe Rush, Adobe Premiere). Here are some of the recent thumbnails I’ve used for my Youtube Channel.

Adobe has also continued to update the product during 2020 and has introduced new features like downloadable short videos and being able to remove the background on pictures with one click.

My youtube channel Chicvoyage. 95% of these videos have been edited on Adobe Premiere 2020. Bottom line it has increased my productivity.

There were other reasons for this as well. At the end of 2018 I decided to upgrade my Macbook Pro to a windows PC Huawei Matebook Pro X. The main reason I switched was that Apple was charging way too much for the hardware they were giving. It was a good decision at the time and I still have my Macbook Pro to allow me to access to the Apple store and Final Cut Pro X

Here are the products I use from Adobe and Why?

  1. Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 – I can use it to Video edit on any type of PC not just a mac. It has efficient with handling high resolution footage, it offers powerful motion graphics and fonts to give my videos a customer look.

  2. Adobe Spark – I’m using this program, which is free to use if you have are paying for Adobe Premiere cloud creative service. It allows me to easily create professional looking graphics for my Youtube videos, Online Courses, Kindle Book Covers and more

  3. Adobestock – I use them as a contributor as I submit my stock footage here more frequently in recent years since they have entered the game. They have good integration to their stock library with their programs

How can you learn to use Adobe Spark

Here is a thumbnail I created using Adobe Spark Online Course.

The course is a Bundle and includes access to Adobe Rush, which is Adobe’s video editing program for social media. You should have this program free if you can access Adobe Spark.
